Once his injuries had fully healed, Su Mu flew toward New York. For him, that distance was nothing now.
Two Arc Reactors floated around Su Mu under the effects of the Limitless Technique. The immense energy they released continually replenished his reserves, with enough left over for the system to absorb and increase his template synchronization.
His main reason for heading to New York was to kill Kingpin, the underground king who had caused him so much trouble when he first crossed over.
The main reason he hadn't gone after Kingpin earlier was that he couldn't predict his movements. Now, though, Six Eyes was about to reach Level 3, and with Teleportation, Su Mu's mobility was incredible. He could search all of Hell's Kitchen in a short time.
Kingpin had nowhere left to hide from him!
As he flew toward New York, Su Mu kept Six Eyes activated at full power, observing the scenery around him. Its experience continued to rise.

When he reached the skies above New York, Six Eyes hit Level 3 just as the system's notifications kept ringing!

A warm current flowed out from his mind and flooded into his eyes.
His already astonishing field of vision expanded rapidly, from 500 meters to 2,000 meters—four times farther than at Level 2!
Everything within 2,000 meters was crystal clear!
Even his ability to see through things had greatly improved. He could peer through several solid walls and see exactly what lay beyond them.
What's more, upon reaching Level 3, Six Eyes gained a new effect: reducing unnecessary energy consumption!
That meant Su Mu's already lengthy fighting stamina had increased by a great deal once again!
After absorbing all the information in his mind, Su Mu grinned. He took another step and appeared above Hell's Kitchen!
The game of hide-and-seek was about to begin!
Inside a secluded military base, the satellite radar suddenly blared an alarm.
In the commander's office, a well-trained soldier reported, looking somewhat flustered:
"Report, General. The satellite radar has detected an unidentified flying object heading toward New York at incredible speed. Its top speed has reached Mach 5!"
"What?!"
The general was stunned. The fastest aircraft in service could only reach around Mach 3. How could this unidentified object possibly hit Mach 5?
"Bring up the satellite feed and lock onto the object. I want to see what it is!"
Ever since Tony Stark had revealed that he was Iron Man, strange incidents had been happening more and more often. Masked weirdos were appearing everywhere. So even the news of an unidentified flying object traveling at Mach 5 didn't shock the general too much.
The soldier immediately operated the satellite, adjusting the camera's focus toward the unidentified object above Hell's Kitchen.
When the image on the screen finally came into focus, they stared blankly at what they saw.
Even the general, who had faced countless unexpected situations in his life, gaped at the screen!
A white-haired figure stood in the sky above Hell's Kitchen, hands in his pockets as he looked down at everything below.
Everyone there knew the figure well. Ever since those three reports had been published, the military and the government had come under immense pressure. For days, the military's top brass had been studying intelligence on the White Devil, trying to find his weakness.
After several sleepless days of research, however, the military's senior officials had despairingly concluded that the White Devil had no weaknesses at all!
Superhuman physique, Energy Absorption, a deep-blue black hole, the Black-Red Singularity, terrifying Spatial Defense...
He was a Mutant who was absolutely perfect!
At last, after all their painstaking research, the officials had discovered that the White Devil seemingly lacked any defense against mental attacks. They immediately sent an envoy to negotiate with Professor X, hoping to use the students at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters to force him to kill Su Mu.
But Professor X had told them:
"The White Devil's mind is like a sea of Chaos. I can't sense anything at all, so there's nothing for me to attack!"
They hadn't believed him until another Mutant with psychic powers—who had sided with the military and had encountered the White Devil before—said the same thing. Only then did they finally accept that even Professor X could do nothing to the White Devil's mind!
This left the entire military at a loss. If even mental attacks couldn't get through, then didn't the White Devil have no weaknesses at all?
How could a Mutant be so perfect?!
Because of this, the military's top officials had held an emergency meeting two days ago. At the meeting, Colonel Stryker had emphasized just how dangerous the White Devil was.
He had also described how the White Devil's powers kept growing, and how it was entirely possible that in the future he would be able to ignore nuclear bombs!
If that day came, the government and military would have no way to resist the White Devil, who would be like a god. He would establish a new government!
Those words had been what finally convinced both the military and government officials to make up their minds: they would use high-yield nuclear weapons to kill the White Devil and nip the threat in the bud!
But what was happening now?!
Why had the White Devil's speed suddenly increased so much? With a top speed approaching Mach 5, faster than even the fastest fighter jet, how could a nuclear weapon hit him?
What were they supposed to do now?
Would all the careful planning by the military's top brass turn out to be a joke?
Just then, they saw the White Devil on the screen suddenly look up at the sky, as if he could see through tens of thousands of meters of distance and spot the surveillance satellite in outer space. Then he gave a ferocious grin!
They instinctively stumbled backward several steps. The general almost tripped, because it looked as though the White Devil were staring straight at them through the camera, his face right in front of them!
But in the next moment, the White Devil paid them no further attention. He took another step and vanished from where he stood...
Cold sweat broke out across the general's forehead. He kept muttering to himself,
"No, no, we can't cancel the plan. We need to use even more powerful nuclear weapons and launch a devastating strike against the White Devil. Even if it means destroying a city, so be it!
In just a few days, the White Devil has become this terrifying. How powerful could he get if he keeps growing?
Are we really going to let him become a god on Earth?!"
Above Hell's Kitchen, Su Mu looked toward the sky. He sensed that he was being watched, an instinctive feeling granted by his newly upgraded Level 3 Six Eyes.
But Su Mu didn't care. The military had probably discovered where he was and was using a surveillance satellite to monitor him.
He smiled amiably in the direction his instincts told him the watchers were, then took a step and vanished.
Kingpin was still waiting for him!
