A few minutes earlier, facing Cull Obsidian's threat, Su Mu suddenly smiled at him. Then he withdrew the repulsive force and lowered the Chitauri commander from the air.
Cull Obsidian took it all for granted. Faced with the Obsidian Legion, any faction would compromise—not to mention the cowardly Earthlings!
But then he saw the Earthling approach the Chitauri commander and place a finger against his skin. Amid dazzling light, the enormous energy forcibly injected into the Chitauri commander's body turned him to ash!
After doing all that, Su Mu raised his middle finger at Cull Obsidian, offering his warm regards!
Tony Stark, standing nearby, saw this and pointed toward the Obsidian Legion's spaceship in the distance before saying to Su Mu:
"Is it really wise to provoke them like this? They seem angry. Shouldn't we leave?"
Through the control room's glass, the spaceship in the distance could be clearly seen. After Su Mu raised his middle finger, communications with the spaceship ahead were cut off. Then the distant spaceship's main cannon began charging. It was clearly preparing to attack the Chitauri Mothership.

While checking the Mark 7 Armor's scan results, Tony said to Su Mu:
"The energy output of this attack is no less than a nuclear explosion, and it's a continuous energy beam. We can't stop it.
I suggest we return immediately and ask the Sorcerer Supreme to block Thanos' Army."
But he suddenly realized that Su Mu had opened a portal beside him at some point and stepped through it, appearing before the incoming laser beam.
He immediately shouted:
"What are you doing? Come back! Even if you can withstand a nuclear explosion, you can't possibly withstand a spaceship's energy beam!
"Compared to a nuclear bomb, a spaceship's energy beam has a higher energy
