After making arrangements everywhere, Tang Miao returned to their small village. He brought along the Mystic Snake and then headed to the airport in a nearby city.
Actually, he was still quite hesitant about the Tianshan trip... especially since he had to go deeper into the region...
After all, that was a true human forbidden zone. People who went in never came out, or if they did reappear decades later, they had no memory of what happened inside. Those who didn't make it out had no chance to tell their stories. It was mysterious and terrifying, with countless folk legends of people who obtained immense treasures and transformed within. However, whether it was the warriors and powerhouses buried silently in the snow or the legendary figures with widespread fame, no one was willing to mention anything that happened in Tianshan...
But then again, danger and reward were often equal. Such an ancient place, called the Sacred Mountain by the locals, likely harbored not only the Totem Sacred Beast, the White Tiger, but possibly other Totems as well.
However, whether these Totems would still heed the commands of the Kirin he carried was an unknown.
Pan Town, situated at the southern foot of Tianshan, was very different from other special relay stations. Its existence, as mentioned before, was due to the spontaneous efforts of the relatives of those who went missing in Tianshan. They built wooden houses by the river at the foot of the mountain, gradually forming a village, and then a town. Later, those who wished to venture into Tianshan also flocked to Pan Town for supplies and lodging, developing it into a departure point for the southern route into Tianshan. Hunters, explorers, mercenaries, students, and trainees crowded this small town. There weren't many locals from Xinjiang; most were outsiders.
Upon Tang Miao's arrival, he proceeded towards Tianshan, guided by the Kirin Jade. Although it was dangerous here, the outer regions were relatively safer.
At least there weren't Commander Level demons everywhere.
Over the course of several days, as they ventured deeper, Tang Miao encountered no Commander Level demons blocking their path, thanks to the Mystic Snake.
The obstacles posed by the General Level demons he'd encountered in the outer regions were also easily resolved. After all, current General Level demons couldn't withstand even one of his Lightning bombardments.
Coupled with the Mystic Snake's oppressive aura, what low-level demons would dare approach? However, upon reaching the central part of Tianshan, he could only continue deeper with the Mystic Snake.
This was because the area had already become a dangerous zone.
Although the surface appeared calm, Tang Miao knew that the real danger lay hidden.
On the fifth day of entering Tianshan, Tang Miao and the Mystic Snake provoked the Tianshan Shadow Leopard tribe.
Fortunately, with Tang Miao's instructions, the Mystic Snake didn't linger for a fight. After eliminating a few, they left the territory, thus avoiding further pursuit!
Bringing the Mystic Snake along had both advantages and disadvantages.
The Mystic Snake Monarch's aura, once sensed by some of the local tribes, would invariably attract trouble. Although Tang Miao could obtain a considerable amount of Remnant Souls or even Spirit Essence after a fierce battle, he wasn't here to fight and didn't want the Mystic Snake to be overly depleted.
Otherwise, how would it have the remaining strength to deter the Sky Eagle tribe outside Hangzhou upon their return?
When encountering Servant Level creatures, Tang Miao chose to act himself. The man and the snake traveled through Tianshan for a full ten days, yet they still hadn't reached the indicated destination.
It was fortunate that Tang Miao cultivated the Ice Element, and coupled with his own Domain power, the damage he sustained was not significant.
After another day of travel, Tang Miao and the Mystic Snake found a cave to rest in.
"Hiss hiss~"
In the middle of the night, the Mystic Snake suddenly cried out, waking Tang Miao from his Meditation Cultivation.
"What is it?"
"Hiss hiss~"
Listening to the Mystic Snake's explanation, Tang Miao was stunned. He then said, "You're not joking, are you?"
"Hiss hiss~"
The Mystic Snake told Tang Miao that outside the cave, a Sky Scarred White Tiger with a strength comparable to its own had arrived!
Tang Miao immediately stood up, but the Mystic Snake then informed him that the other party had no malicious intent. It seemed to be guiding them to meet the Totem Sacred Beast White Tiger!
Upon learning the situation, Tang Miao followed the Mystic Snake out.
He saw the Sky Scarred White Tiger before him. Its body was a white amber color, exuding a translucent quality. Yet, this creature wasn't smooth; it had dense, handsome fur running from its neck to its tail.
Its ears were very pointed, resembling leaf-like horns, and it had a pair of majestic double-moon tiger markings on its forehead.
What was most unusual about this Sky Scarred White Tiger were its eyebrows... Its eyebrows were frost-white but long like thick whiskers, with a curved arc that hung beside its wild, magnificent tiger cheeks, further enhancing its regal aura!
The mini snake on Tang Miao's shoulder flicked its tongue, seemingly communicating.
The Sky Scarred White Tiger also responded with a symbolic low "growl..."
After a brief exchange between the snake and the tiger, the Mystic Snake turned to Tang Miao.
Flicking its tongue, it told him: the other party was a subordinate of the Sacred Beast White Tiger, here to escort them.
Tang Miao didn't question it and directly mounted the Sky Scarred White Tiger. The white tiger then began to move towards the location indicated by the Kirin Jade.
The Sky Scarred White Tiger had lived here for many years and knew how to avoid other tribes. This time, no conflict arose. As dawn broke, Tang Miao realized that the place indicated by the Kirin Jade seemed to be getting closer!
"Damn it... with such an intelligent subordinate, why didn't they send it out sooner?" Tang Miao complained inwardly, quite displeased.
He knew they had been through a lot of misery these past few days. It was fortunate he had brought his brain and brought the Mystic Snake with him to Tianshan; otherwise, they might have died before even reaching this point!
As the sun rose, the white tiger brought Tang Miao to the summit of a mountain peak.
Upon reaching the location, the white tiger stopped. It looked back at Tang Miao, let out a few "growls," and then retreated.
The Mystic Snake once again acted as an interpreter, flicking its tongue to tell Tang Miao that this was the White Tiger's location.
Tang Miao looked around, finding nothing, and looked at the Sky Scarred White Tiger behind him with some confusion. The Sky Scarred White Tiger paid him no mind. Instead, the Kirin Jade within its body suddenly began to tremble.
Sensing its vibration, Tang Miao summoned it.
As the Kirin Jade appeared, a massive phantom image of a white tiger materialized. The tiger's current size was clearly not its original scale, and its appearance was similar to the regular white tigers, but the key difference was a pair of immaculate white wings, exuding an oppressive aura!
Even though it was deliberately concealed, Tang Miao could still feel the pressure.
As its phantom image appeared, the Mystic Snake and the Sky Scarred White Tiger simultaneously lowered their heads, as if in reverence?
