After killing Basham, Tang Miao told Mu Ningxue and Jiang Yu that their enemy was Su Lu, but assured them he and Mu Ningxue would be safe. He followed the Kirin Jade’s signal to Apas and took the Twilight Flower she had found, feeding it to the jade.

• Tang Miao revealed that Su Lu was behind the danger and told Jiang Yu he could return home to avoid getting involved.
• Jiang Yu accepted Tang Miao’s advice, and Snow Woman carried him away to safety.

He discovered that blue trees could grow in the sea and realized their seeds might help protect not only Moon Snow Town but China’s coastline.

• Apas told Tang Miao that the Black Dragon Emperor would sense him if he made a magic tool from its scale, but it could not move to his land because powerful beings in the East might be roused.
• Tang Miao carried the unconscious Norman away from the ruined mountain range and flew to a Mediterranean island to meet Mu Ningxue.
• Tang Miao told Mu Ningxue that he had stopped Su Lu’s ritual and saved the Black Dragon, while she warned that Sea Monsters had been repeatedly attacking Moon Snow Town after Baxia was injured.

Heidi said she would return to Alps Academy and did not want to see Tang Miao for a while, leaving him to spend the night alone.

• Tang Miao slipped past the Parthenon knights and found Heidi and Zhao Manyan, then left the city with them.
• Tang Miao told Heidi that Blanche was fine and had gone back to Alps Academy, while Heidi struggled with the fact that her boyfriend had slept with her mentor.

Tang Miao confronted Zu Xiangtian, who had come to Athens City while coveting Apas and seeking favor with Su Lu. Tang Miao avoided fighting him immediately, challenging him instead to face Mo Fan in six months at Moon Snow Town.

• Zu Xiangtian introduced himself and mocked Tang Miao for staying in Athens City after offending Su Lu, while Tang Miao called him Su Lu’s dog and warned him to stop staring at Apas.
