Drilling a Hole in the Planet

"Got to leave a mark that's impressive enough, or people will think this Ancestor Person of mine is a fake. Time to blow up a planet..."

After wiping out the entire Flaxan surface civilization, Jupiter showed no sign of stopping. As a born Viltrumite powerhouse, he had to outdo even ordinary Viltrumites...

For instance...

In outer space, Jupiter transformed into a streak of light, hurtling toward the deep-red Flaxan surface with a thunderous roar!

The remaining Flaxans on the ground lifted their heads to the sky, watching a meteor tear through the atmosphere, heading straight for their home planet.

"Bless us..."

Some Flaxans clasped their hands together, praying incessantly. Though Flaxans and Blue Star humans were entirely different races, it was oddly miraculous that, as a highly intelligent civilization, the Flaxans had evolved a faith strikingly similar to Earth's!

And then...

"Boom!"

A massive mushroom cloud erupted across the Flaxan planet's surface, sweeping in all directions. All those kneeling, seeing the blazing light, were instantly reduced to dust!

The shockwave, immense in scale, rocked the planet's continental plates...

Yet these were only the visible attacks on the Flaxan planet's surface. The real strike came from within the Flaxan planet itself!

A humanoid lifeform was moving at speeds far exceeding sound, even reaching a limit that spacefaring civilization radar could barely detect. In an instant, it pierced through the Flaxan planet's crust, outer transition layer, liquid layer, inner transition layer, and finally reached the planet's core...

"Ha!"

That figure in white, immersed in the core at thousands of degrees Celsius, unleashed its energy to the fullest, triggering an eruption of the core's power. Then, as a blur, it shot straight onward...

"Boom!"

Not long after, a deafening explosion erupted from the planet's opposite side. A man in tattered white battle armor, eyes blazing with fire, soared into the sky with molten magma gushing from the core, returning to the vacuum of space.

"Boom!"

"Crash..."

After the man left the planet, the entire Flaxan world underwent cataclysmic changes. The air burned, the ground quaked, and magma spewed endlessly from all over the planet, like the apocalypse itself, as if the entire world had entered a countdown to destruction.

"Hope you like the grand fireworks I prepared for you."

Jupiter stood in the vacuum of space, watching the explosions erupting across the Flaxan planet's surface. Destruction had already begun its countdown.

"..."

Jupiter admired the scene for a while, then picked up the Spacetime Gate device he had tossed into the vacuum earlier. He pressed it lightly.

Instantly, a golden Spacetime Gate materialized silently in the void of space.

"Time to go home."

Jupiter flashed into the Spacetime Gate.

On the other side, at Global Defense Bureau headquarters, Cissels was reviewing a report when he suddenly sensed something. His expression shifted.

"Everyone, get out!"

The Global Defense Bureau director, Cissels, spoke coldly to the staff.

"..."

The staff immediately stopped their work and filed out of the headquarters with practiced ease, clearly not the first time this had happened.

"What's the situation? Did you find anything?!"

Cissels asked, staring at a corner of the room.

"Heh heh..."

With a low chuckle, the light in the room dimmed. From the shadowy corner, a red-skinned demon, dressed in a classic English trench coat and detective hat like a great sleuth, materialized out of thin air.

"I've uncovered some very interesting findings. I think you'll like them..."

The demon's crimson face twisted into a vicious grin as he spoke to Cissels with an air of mystery.

"Enough, stop playing games. Tell me the results now."

Cissels looked at the demon, his eyes devoid of any trust. He had never trusted any demon, including this so-called great detective.

"Such an impatient old man..."

"But since you want to know, I'll tell you."

The demon gave Cissels a knowing smile.

"First, congratulations. My earlier deduction was wrong. It wasn't Omni-Man who planned and wiped out the Global Guardians..."

The demon began with news that visibly relaxed Cissels.

"When Omni-Man and the Guardians gathered, there was another person present. Theoretically, that person is the real killer. But here's the interesting part: when that person fought the other Guardians, they met varying degrees of resistance. Yet, when fighting Omni-Man, he seemed to offer no resistance at all, as if the two were very familiar..."

"So now, the scope narrows. Someone familiar with Omni-Man, possessing the power to annihilate the entire Global Guardians and even break through Omni-Man's defenses. Cissels, do you know this person?"

The crimson-skinned demon sneered, asking Cissels coldly.

"Familiar enough with Omni-Man that Nolan would give up resisting..."

"And possessing the power to wipe out the entire Global Guardians, even piercing Omni-Man's defenses..."

Cissels's eyes went wide at the words. After thinking it over carefully, he realized he actually did know someone...

He remembered Robot mentioning a person to him—someone Robot had called nearly as powerful as Omni-Man...

Omni-Man Nolan's eldest son, Jupiter...

Cissels had also toured Jupiter's battlefield. Back then, he'd almost felt sorry for the Flaxans—each and every one of them had been crushed beyond human shape by Jupiter's absolute power...

In an instant, all the points he couldn't understand before clicked into place.

A man who inherited all of Omni-Man's strength, harbored ambition, and struck with ruthless cruelty would never allow anyone to stand above him. So he orchestrated the fall of the Global Guardians. Nolan, learning of his son's actions, fought desperately to resist, but because his enemy was his own flesh and blood, he couldn't bring himself to strike—and ended up beaten half to death...

"Bang!"

Having pieced together a whole drama in his head, Cissels slammed his fist into the computer screen beside him, shattering it instantly. His hand was immediately covered in glass shards, and drops of crimson blood seeped from the wounds.

"Listen, Damien Darkblood—you swallow everything you've dug up and keep it buried in your gut. Don't you dare tell a soul, or I'll personally send you straight to hell."

Cissels warned the red demon.

"Hmph! Arrogant old man. I'll reveal the truth to the world myself."

Damien Darkblood shot Cissels a glare and vanished from the office.

"F*CK!"

After Damien Darkblood left, Cissels slumped weakly into his chair.

"Director, what happened?"

The little lackey behind Cissels looked at his exhausted expression with confusion.

"Things have hit rock bottom. Blue Star might get dragged into the biggest family feud in the world—or even the entire universe."

Cissels kept pressing his temples, feeling utterly troubled at this moment.

Deep in his subconscious, Cissels still believed Omni-Man Nolan was a good person—or rather, he didn't dare to think about the possibility that Blue Star's strongest father-son duo were both enemies.
