With one tiger roar after another, Earth-Shaking Tigers appeared outside the city.
Earth-Shaking Tigers were Demonic Beasts, not Strange Beasts, so they were capable of taking human form. After transforming, every Earth-Shaking Tiger would become a hulking figure nearly ten feet tall.
However, at this moment, the Earth-Shaking Tigers all remained in beast form. An ordinary Earth-Shaking Tiger was thirty feet long and twenty feet tall at the shoulder, its body covered in gray-black rock scales like intersecting plates of the earth's crust, with golden-red Earth Vein light seeping from the cracks. Its head was an inverted triangle, with three rock spikes on its forehead; the middle spike was three feet long. Its eyes were molten gold like fire, its pupils rolling with crimson-yellow earthflame. Its nose was broad, its nostrils flared, and two pairs of tusks were embedded with dark cyan earth-soul crystals. Its four limbs were like bronze pillars, and its five iron-hook claws were over a foot thick, serrated along the inner edges. When they stepped on the ground, they split rock, and earth magma surged from the cracks. Its tail was longer than its body, made of basalt, with the end swollen like a warhammer. Chain-like Earth Vein patterns coiled over its surface, and a swing of it could raise an earthen wall over ten meters high. The flesh wings at its shoulder blades had degenerated into jagged bone plates, and dorsal spines ran from neck to tail. When they flared in fury, flowing golden patterns appeared, allowing it to condense earth into barriers.
The Earth-Shaking Tigers were a clan, but their power was not limited to the Earth-Shaking Tiger clan alone. Among the many Demon Race clans, tiger-type Demonic Beasts had always carried the bearing of kings, so there were also many other races
