Hearing Daoist Bu's words, Chen Lin nodded inwardly.
He had already suspected that this sort of bamboo scroll came from the Upper Primal Domain. Now, it seemed he had been right.
He unfurled the bamboo scroll, revealing an exquisitely lifelike landscape painting.

Chen Lin studied the other man's deeply wrinkled face, unable to tell whether he truly knew that Chen Lin possessed a destiny talent or was merely probing him.
But he would never admit to such a thing.
So he laughed it off.
"You jest, Daoist. I merely have a little ability relating to luck. It has nothing to do with destiny."
Then he immediately changed tack. "Still, I have always been interested in things recorded on these bamboo scrolls. I can accept this as part of the trade, but this alone is not enough. You must at least add a pseudo-true spirit tier spirit treasure."
Seeing the other man's expression sour, Chen Lin continued, "Don't be angry, Daoist. Everyone wants to enter the Heaven-Connecting Secret Realm.
