Watching Zhu Qingyan disappear, Chen Lin naturally understood how to leave.
The spots of light within those black clouds were entrances opened from outside. Each entrance could only be used once, either to enter or leave, before closing.
In other words, only as many people could leave as had entered. If there were any more, there would not be enough exits.
Of course, under normal circumstances, there could not possibly be more.
There was no other way to enter, but even if there were, it would not matter. These exits apparently did not lock onto the auras of those who used them, so anyone could pass through. The Chaos Pool was so dangerous that, even if half the people who entered did not die, twenty or thirty percent would. Far fewer people would leave than had entered.
Having figured out the situation, Chen Lin did not rush. Instead, he sank his body back into the viscous energy, leaving only his eyes exposed as he continued to observe.
Before long, he saw two figures emerge from below in succession.
A man and a woman soared into the air side by side without pausing, then each chose a spot of light and left.
Just as before, after they entered the spots of light, the lights slowly disappeared.
An incense stick's worth of time later, another person flew out from somewhere far away and entered a spot of light.
After observing three people in succession, Chen Lin felt there was no problem. He stopped waiting, chose a nearby spot of light, and flew toward it.
Upon reaching the spot of light, Chen Lin examined it, but could discern nothing. He plunged straight in.
He felt only his body passing through a formless barrier before he appeared in a normal world.
