But after countless years without tending, they had become so overgrown that the fields' original layout could no longer be discerned.

These plants might look untidy, but anything capable of growing in such a place was bound to be extraordinary. Otherwise, the Dayuan Trading Firm would not have gone to such lengths.

Not far away, along one stretch of the pool's edge, he saw many plants resembling small trees.
