Kannie's air of absolute confidence brought a look of delight to Chen Lin's face.

Chen Lin cupped his hands in thanks.
Since she was willing to call him her brother, he no longer dwelled on it. It made them seem closer and made things easier to discuss.

Then she asked with concern, "But I've heard the Cage Array is exceedingly dangerous. Brother Chen, your cultivation doesn't seem to have reached the Void Realm yet. Are you confident you can break through it?"

"Even the core disciples of those major factions, and even True Realm experts, recoil at the sight of the Cage Array. Let alone me."

Kannie pondered for a moment upon hearing this, but still shook her head slightly.
"I can't help you with that either. Our Ancient Wood God Race isn't skilled in formations, and we haven't studied the Cage Array."
