Chen Lin tried visiting several star islands, but none of his attempts succeeded.
The rogue cultivators here all acted as though they wanted to keep everyone a thousand miles away.

Just as he was about to head back in frustration, Chen Lin spotted two figures and immediately called out to them.
"Are you calling us? What do you want?"
Both were young men wearing identical clothes, their faces full of wariness.
"Please don't worry. I mean no harm. I've only just arrived, and I'd like to ask whether there's somewhere here to trade goods."
"There is. Keep going in that direction. When you see a square star island without a defensive formation, that's where the market is."
One of the men pointed somewhere.
Then the two turned and hurriedly flew away.
Chen Lin had wanted to ask a few more questions, but could only abandon the idea.
He had no idea what the cultivators here had experienced to make them so excessively cautious.
This was not a good sign.
Chen Lin's expression darkened.
Still, things would be easier with a market.
At least he could learn something about the situation.
He returned to his star island, picked up Bai Yu and Mo Furong, and flew straight toward the market.
Sure enough, before they had flown very far, a square star island appeared in their field of vision. It looked fairly large.
"This is the market?"
The three landed on the square star island, and Bai Yu spoke in puzzlement.

The entire star island was flat but desolate. There were no large buildings in sight, only a scattering of crude stone huts in the distance.
Not a single cultivator was visible.
As they looked around, someone emerged from a stone hut and
