"Oh, how boring."
At the prow of the Flying Boat, Gu Siming stretched lazily and spoke in utter boredom.
"What's going on? We haven't run into a single Void Beast in all this time. Have all the Void Beasts in the Kan Domain been killed off? And who knows where all the Dark Cultivators have gone."
"Come on, give us some danger! This Miss's hands are itching!"
"Don't jinx us!"
Chen Lin walked over from behind and glared at her.
"If your hands are itching, go help me refine the materials. I happen to have more than I can handle."

Gu Siming refused at once.
Then she eyed Chen Lin suspiciously.
"What are you refining all those lumps of metal for? They look like formation materials. Any formation that needs this much material must at least be meant to defend a sect."
At this point, her expression shifted.
She asked in surprise, "Are you planning to establish a sect?"
"What do you mean, planning to? I'm already the master of a sect."
Chen Lin spoke calmly.
"Oh?"
Gu Siming became interested.
She leaned in closer to Chen Lin.
"What sect? Where is it? How many disciples do you have?" she asked curiously.
"Ahem."
Chen Lin cleared his throat twice.
"The Kaiyuan Sect. We have headquarters in both the Void Realm and the Inner World. As for disciples... plenty."
"Pfft!"
Gu Siming curled her lip.
"One look at you tells me it's no major sect. Otherwise, how could someone with your cultivation possibly become its sect master?"
After expressing her disdain, she paused.
Her eyes darted about, and she added, "How about this? This Miss won't hold your past actions against you and will take a position as your sect's great elder. What do you say?"
"No."
Chen Lin
