Chen Lin was utterly stunned as he watched the object emerge from the boulder.
The password really was correct!
He suddenly realized that the talent ability he had once taken such pride in had barely scratched the surface.
Compared with a true Destiny Practitioner, he still had a long way to go. He would have to devote more effort to his talent in the future.
But now was not the time to dwell on that. Chen Lin gathered his thoughts and reached out to catch the object.
He paused in surprise.
What the boulder had spat out was actually a pendant!
Its design was exceedingly simple: a Black Round Token without any patterns, its surface rough, threaded onto a red cord knotted at the end.
The thing was so crude that Chen Lin felt rather disappointed.
He tried activating it.
It did not respond to other forms of energy. When he used soul power, it gave off a faint glimmer.
But that was all.
"Can you tell what this is used for?"
Chen Lin activated his talent ability and spoke with Daidaixi.
He felt that something hidden away so mysteriously, requiring a password to obtain, might not be a supreme treasure, but surely could not be entirely useless.
"I can't tell. It feels like some sort of token."
Daidaixi shook her head as she answered.
Then she added, "There's still one face of this triangular stone that hasn't been activated. Help me one more time, Big Brother Chen. I'll crack it and see what we get. That should complete my task, too."
"All right."
Chen Lin readily agreed.
He had already gained so much from her that he would have felt guilty if he refused to help.
Daidaixi grew excited.
She immediately unleashed her divine ability and cracked the password
