The Bright Sword Master had now reined in his aura and looked like an ordinary young man again.

The Bright Sword Master gestured for him to take a seat.
Chen Lin hesitated, then carefully sat down on a chair.
Then he lowered his eyes and waited for the other man to speak.

"There is a peculiar energy in this bun's wrapper. Can you tell me exactly where it came from?"
"Since you ask, my lord, I will naturally tell you everything I know."

He was not surprised, either.
When he made the buns with golden wheat, he had already anticipated that Sword Sect Master Xiaoling would notice.
He simply had not expected to attract the Bright Sword Master's attention.
"This spirit wheat is called golden wheat. It comes from a place called Oddity Island in the Rainbow Realm, outside the Nightmare Realm. But that place has fallen into ruin, and it isn't somewhere one can visit at will. I only went there once by chance several hundred years ago, and obtained very little."
"So it really is Oddity Island."
The Bright Sword Master murmured in agreement.

Oddity Island was in the Reality Realm, yet this man was a creature of the Nightmare Realm. Could this Sword Master also be an Explorer?

"I do not.
