"Come on, let's take a look!"
Seeing the dark shape drift farther and farther away, Chen Lin immediately picked up speed.
The entire void was filled with endless starlight. Having finally encountered something different, he had to investigate, no matter what it was.
"It's a door-a wooden door!"
Once they drew closer, Sword Woman cried out in delighted surprise.
Chen Lin, however, looked startled and doubtful.
He saw it too. It was indeed a door, but that was all it was: a solitary wooden door moving swiftly through the starlight.
The wooden door did not even stay upright.
One moment it lay sideways; the next, it tilted at an angle, like a plank floating through the air.
"Was the wooden door you encountered last time like this too?"
Chen Lin could not help asking.
He found it hard to imagine that this thing could connect to some unknown space. Even calling it a treasure seemed a stretch.
"It was exactly like this."
Sword Woman nevertheless gave him a definite answer.
Chen Lin paused in surprise.
Then he said no more and accelerated again, catching up to the wooden door.
He focused his senses on it once more.
Still, he could detect nothing unusual.
It looked like an ordinary wooden door, even somewhat shabby, without any designs or decorative patterns, much less any fluctuations of energy.
It had a frame, but no handle.
"Would pulling the door out of its frame count as opening it?"
After studying it for a while, Chen Lin turned to Sword Woman.
"I don't know."
Sword Woman shook her head.
"Neither the Saintess nor the Star Lord managed to open it back then. I don't know whether they pushed or pulled. Besides, this door doesn't stay here all the time. It disappears when the Seven Stars
