"What exactly is the Endless Rubik's Cube used for?"
Hearing him mention the Rubik's Cube, Chen Lin took the opportunity to ask.
"I don't know either. The Shadow Scholar never spoke of it publicly, and the beings who came out of Dandian Paradise were deeply secretive about it."
"But I suspect that what the Rubik's Cube represents isn't necessarily all good. It could also be a calamity."
The Soulless Patriarch offered his analysis.
"Why?"
Chen Lin immediately pressed him.
"Heh."
The Soulless Patriarch chuckled.
"If it were some supreme treasure, how could the people of Dandian Paradise let it remain out in the world? Even if the Shadow Scholar obtained it the first time because of his immense strength, in all the years since the Rubik's Cube scattered, we've never seen them search for it."
"Leaving everything else aside."
"With the resources of the Wealth and Honor Casino, collecting Rubik's Cube Fragments would be easy, yet we've never heard of them doing so."
Something stirred in Chen Lin's heart.
The man had a point. If the Endless Rubik's Cube were some supreme treasure, the fragment in the Casino's Treasure Vault could never have fallen into his hands. Even the fragments he already carried would have been seized.
It was truly hard to say whether this thing was a blessing or a curse.
If he had the opportunity, he really needed to speak to that boss. She surely knew the truth.
"Then why did the Shadow Scholar go to such lengths to use it a second time?"
Chen Lin continued pursuing the topic.
"Who knows?"
The Soulless Patriarch shook his head.
"The Shadow Scholar is exceedingly mysterious. I was fairly well acquainted with him, yet I never managed to see through to his true form. For all we know, he might
