"But that possibility rests on the Truth-Restoring Brush truly being the core of Shadow Scholar's resurrection. He would need to restore the Endless Rubik's Cube at the same time he resurrected, to finish what he left undone."
Chen Lin offered no opinion.
The explanation made sense, yet it also did not.
Unless the Holy Temple's original inheritance had been left by Shadow Scholar and passed down without interruption, there was no guarantee that something would remain in the Treasure Vault over such a long span of time.

A thought suddenly stirred in Chen Lin's mind.
He recalled the circumstances in which he had obtained his first Rubik's Cube Fragment.
If Shadow Scholar had refined a fragment into one of the Holy Temple's buildings, such a tiny piece without any energy fluctuations would be impossible for anyone but the person who placed it to discover.

Never mind four possible places-even if he knew for certain it was inside the Treasure Vault, he still might not find it.
