Chen Lin put away his Spirit Boat, activated the Xuanwu Shield, and hid beneath the sea, watching the great ship from afar.

The ship was absurdly large, shaped like a giant dragon and black from end to end. A Light Barrier enveloped it, obscuring everything inside.

He doubted it belonged to the Gu Family. No one chasing an enemy would make themselves so conspicuous; their target would flee long before they drew near.

The ship sailed swiftly and was much closer in the blink of an eye.

Chen Lin then saw a huge design on its hull, something like a merchant ship's Emblem.

The ship did not notice him. It passed in the distance and dwindled to a black speck in an instant.

After a moment's hesitation, he took out several high-grade Water Escape Talismans, sank beneath the surface, and followed it underwater.

Whether it was a merchant ship or a monster-hunting vessel, it would have to leave the White Mist Sea Region. If he followed it, he should be able to get out too.

His only worry was that it might be a Bizarre existence like the White Bone Holy Ship. It did not look like one, though, and it lacked that Bizarre aura. Besides, he had finally found a possible way out. Even if it meant taking a risk, he had to follow.

Three days passed in a flash.

Chen Lin kept trailing the ship at a distance.

Fortunately, they encountered no powerful Monster Beasts. He spotted plenty of low-level ones, but avoided them all in advance.

He therefore drew no attention from the ship.

Then, suddenly—

Lurking underwater and watching the ship through the surface, Chen Lin felt his view grow clearer and the stifling pressure of the surrounding space gradually ease.

Delight flashed in his eyes.
