Chen Lin passed smoothly through the Road Guide Barrier and began exploring the area extensively.

When he reached a small hill, his expression suddenly shifted. He looked halfway up the slope, walked over to examine it carefully, and broke into a delighted smile.

"So it was here!"

Muttering to himself, he immediately broke open the node. Rather than entering directly, however, he reached out to test it, in case the other side did not lead to the Underground Immortal Cave.

After all, a scenario did not necessarily contain only one node.

But his expression changed at once.

Just like the node in the Bluestone Street scenario, this one had an invisible membrane outside it, preventing him from entering.

There was clearly a restriction imposed by the rules.

That was contradictory.

If this was a Silver Scenario, he should not have been able to pass through the Road Guide Barrier without a Silver Road Guide. But if it was not, there should have been nothing stopping him from entering the node.

Where exactly had things gone wrong?

After pondering for a long while, Chen Lin finally decided it probably had something to do with the assessment eligibility the Snow-White Goat had mentioned.

Having qualified for the assessment, he could ignore this scenario's Road Guide restrictions for its duration.

He could think of no other explanation.

That brought him back to his original question: what was the assessment task?

Chen Lin racked his brains, but could find no clues whatsoever.

He shook his head. It seemed the one who tied the bell would have to untie it. To break this impasse, he would have to find the Snow-White Goat.
