Battle Erupted

At Wood Fairy's warning, Chen Lin went on high alert.

In a battle between powers of this caliber, one careless moment could reduce him to flying ash.

But the Tianluo Race ignored attacks from Spirit Treasures and Spells. The Divine Being they served surely had the same ability. All his other methods were useless; only the Thunder God Sword and Soul-Destroying Finger might work.

Chen Lin made no further preparations. He readied the Thunder God Sword for instant activation and took the Shepherd Token in hand.

The Nightmare Realm Aura on this Identity Token was dense, even stronger than that of the Blood Handkerchief. If he faced danger he could not withstand, he would abandon his body and project himself into the Nightmare Realm.

His Cultivation would be lost, but at least he would survive. That was better than using the Resurrection Scroll.

And with his status as a Shepherd, he would not have to worry about danger in White Cloud Pasture. He could take his time finding a way out.

After a moment's thought, Chen Lin took out the Fishing Rod as well and tucked it at an angle into his belt.

White Cloud Pasture was a Silver Scenario, so he could not summon the Cat-headed Monster there. Entering was easy; leaving was hard. There was a Node, but whether his projection could get out through it was uncertain. Besides, a clash between powers this strong would surely shake space, and the Node might collapse.

"Senior, what's happening?"

The powerful aura of the rules had Cheng Lingdie trembling from head to toe. She looked at Chen Lin in terror.
