The surface above was broad, but the water was not deep. They soon reached the bottom, then continued downward using the Earth Escape Technique.
Before long, they felt the pressure around their bodies ease and dropped into a cramped space.

Chen Lin tested Void Traversal, but he still could not use it. The spatial confinement remained in effect.
This surprised him somewhat.
Despite space being locked down, the node was unaffected and could still be used.
