Chouya and Shi Jian were meditating in the Immortal Cave inside the Divine Snail Shell. When they saw Chen Lin appear, they excitedly hurried forward to greet him.
Chen Lin first checked their cultivation. Seeing that both had made good progress, he nodded.
"Not bad. Looks like you haven't been slacking off. You'll be ready for Foundation Establishment before long!"
Shi Jian had already reached Qi Condensation Level 9, and his mana was solid and condensed, clearly not the result of relying too heavily on pills. Chouya, however, was only at the fifth layer of Qi refining, and her mana was relatively insubstantial, having been built up almost entirely through pills.
There was nothing to be done about that. Shi Jian had dual spiritual roots, after all, and his aptitude was far better than Chouya's. Still, it did not matter. With Chen Lin as her master, raising her to the Foundation Establishment Realm would be easy.
"Let me introduce you."
Chen Lin pointed to Zhou Shiwu and Qiaoniang. "These are your junior brother and junior sister, Zhou Shiwu and Xiyun Qiao. Their cultivation is much higher than yours. Although they joined later and rank below you, you should still seek their advice on cultivation."

The two youngsters were rather stiff.
They could sense the powerful fluctuations of mana coming from Zhou Shiwu and Qiaoniang and felt a little too intimidated to presume to act as their senior brother and senior sister.
