After the All-Living Tavern reopened, Chen Lin drank its No-Thought wine and asked the shopkeeper for something stronger.

• Chen Lin found Cyan-Faced, Monterey, A Wen, Siguang, and Ximen Yu, and learned their task was to rescue Heta and the other Purple Wood Tribe survivors from the Marquis Manor.
• Cyan-Faced explained that the Purple Wood Tribe’s sprouted strange wood had attracted Marquis Di, and that the tribe’s innate talent was being used to draw energy from it.
• The group shared their progress toward earning one hundred points and split up to complete their remaining achievements; Chen Lin gave A Wen an attack talisman for the Dragon-Elephant Martial Arts Hall.
• Ye Sheng told Chen Lin that traveling through the God Realm was far more dangerous than being sent there for an establishment’s trial, then suffered a bizarre-rule attack that his white light suppressed.

Chen Lin pursued the last points he needed by testing the All-Living Tavern’s wines and winning at the Golden Money House, then turned to investigate the Divine Temple despite the danger. The chapter ended with his separated soul entering the statue-filled square and facing corrosive Bizarre Aura and irresistible murmuring.
