Chen Lin learned about the attack on the Tianfan Realm, negotiated with Yue Tongtian to help Six Mysteries Sect members leave, and heard the Seven Mysteries Heavenly Woman’s request for revenge. He then traveled to the Soul-Severing Sea, where the Life-Claiming Light appeared and he struck at the waters with Sword Will.

• Yue Tongtian gave Chen Lin a list of forces that attacked the Tianfan Realm and explained that Emperor Tianfan had plundered many nearby sects, including Six Mysteries Sect.
• Yue Tongtian refused to abandon Six Mysteries Sect, but Chen Lin offered places for its members to leave in exchange for a Three-Color Nightmare Coin and other Nightmare Realm items.
• The Seven Mysteries Heavenly Woman offered Chen Lin her lineage’s Fortune Frog and asked him to kill the Lake-Fishing Old Man, whom she accused of destroying her lineage and committing evil deeds.
