After landing on the island, Chen Lin first greeted Hundred Flowers Fairy and True Lord Wanmeng. Then, seeing that Jin Xingyun was also there, he went over to him.
"Has Lord Qing not come?"
This gathering concerned a major event affecting the entire cultivation world. Given Lord Qing's position, he ought to have attended.

It was strange, when he thought about it. He had kept his guard up day and night, constantly worrying that the Shadow Monster would come after him. Yet the creature seemed to have lowered its banners and stilled its drums, never appearing again.
While he was pondering this, two more streaks of Escapist Light shot toward the island. As the figures landed, they turned out to be True Lord Yuming of the Tianyun Sect and Gu Shengjin!
Surprise appeared on Chen Lin's face. Why were these two together? Had they happened to meet
