I swam forward, keeping an eye on my surroundings. There were plenty of treasures here, but there were dangers to match, including some
large, vicious aquatic creatures, as well as
Mutant monsters and zombies.
I was curious about why zombies lived underwater.
Buyan told me that their circumstances back then had forced these zombies to flee into the water. They adapted to the aquatic environment, so they never
left. The other zombies had all migrated.
I slipped swiftly through the water, surveying my surroundings. I could swim like a fish because my body was more flexible
than an ordinary person's, allowing me to make these
undulating movements.
I barely used my hands anymore, relying only on the strength of my waist and legs. I swam up beside a house
and draped myself over the top of its wall
to inspect the interior. Places like this could easily conceal predators, so I had to be
careful.
I glanced inside. It was pitch-black, and I could barely see anything. Everything around me seemed quiet, too. Something felt...
wrong about this place, so I didn't
explore it right away. Instead, I turned to leave. Just as I let go of the wall and turned to swim away, I saw an enormous
creature charging straight at me!
"Glug, glug, glug~"

While I was perched on the wall, it had been too dark inside to see anything clearly. But the place gave me a bad feeling, so I wasn't
going to search for anything here. I could always try
somewhere else.
With that thought, I released the wall, turned around, and planted my feet against its smooth surface. Just as I was about to push off, I turned my head,
