Although I was hesitating, ever since that day, the memories in my mind had slowly begun to return.
Now and then, I could see fragments, like a movie in full-dive virtual reality. I was there in the scene, and although I couldn't
change what happened in the memory, I could
experience exactly the same sensations, whether touch, taste, sight, or sound.
In short, it was as if I had lived my life all over again, but with my current memories.
Of course, some memories came back in fragments, while others were only images or sounds.
I thought... these were probably BUGs caused by my brain

I didn't know what I had done just before I died back then, but my brain must already have been in a state of confusion.
I had no idea how much I could recover. All I could do was immerse myself in the memories as best I could and take things one step at a time.
The memories I'd recovered so far were mostly from when I was around five or six, and another stretch from when I was around nine or ten. The clearest ones, though, were from when I was

The fragments that appeared mostly cycled through those three periods, so the memories I recovered were generally from those same age ranges.
I could be certain that when I was fifteen, at least, I still had a normal male psyche. If I'd been able to hold on to that at that age, it was enough to prove
that this body really
