It was definitely a lightning-attracting artifact.
I landed back on Gin-san's head. By then, Gin-san was inside the city. I'd used 460s to demolish all three city walls,
leaving behind three alley-like moats.
As I descended, I saw tens of thousands of people boarding ships along the coast. One ship after another pulled away from shore. At this rate of retreat, they'd probably be done in less than five minutes, right?
Back on Gin-san's head, I slowly folded my wings away. Watching the zombies use their own bodies to fill in the water, I took the opportunity to rest and let Gin-san rampage to its heart's content.
Though artillery fire of this power was enough to hold them back, it was difficult to wipe out such a vast number of zombies.
Even in my dragon form, I wasn't confident I could eliminate all these zombies.
So... holding them back for twenty minutes would be enough.
Gin-san kept darting back and forth through the horde. Not a single zombie could stop it; everywhere it went, bodies littered the ground.
As for me, I sat on Little White behind the moat, eating the food I'd found in a house. Most of it was raw, but
I couldn't afford to be picky. Raw or cooked, as long as it replenished my energy, it was fine.
"Crunch~ crunch~ crunch~"
Once I'd finished the rice, I ate flour, chewing it in my mouth... with the rainwater, it was wonderfully chewy—crunch, crunch.
Gin-san continued rampaging through the horde. When a few zombies occasionally climbed out of the river, I had Little White eat them all.
Thrift and frugality were traditional virtues of our people. Even if zombies were small... they were still meat!
With Gin-san rampaging and Little White working hard, I finally managed to eat
