Irene looked a little puzzled.
"How much can that get us?"
"Enough to feed you. If it's not enough, we'll deal with it then."
"Oh," Irene said with a nod, then went back to gnawing on the pig's head.
If that pig were still alive, she could probably have gnawed it to death.
Sigh... What a glutton!
Honestly, I felt like a parent watching a hopeless child. Eat yourself to death, why don't you!
I shot Her Majesty the Queen a fierce glare, but she didn't react at all. Maybe to her, a look like
that was just... well, uh...
Never mind.
I leaned back in my chair helplessly. The meal lasted over an hour, and every dish in the restaurant came out. It didn't matter
what it was. Once it arrived, Her Majesty
swallowed it in one bite without leaving a crumb. The servers' eyes nearly popped out of their heads.
The server carrying the dishes watched Her Majesty eat an entire pot of king crab, shells and all.
Now he was staring at
the empty plate with an expression that questioned everything he knew, standing in the corner with who knew what on his mind.
I could understand how he felt. If I'd seen that back when I was still an ordinary person, I'd probably have looked just like him,
crouched in a corner and questioning everything
I knew. Had I been wrong all along? Was that how you were supposed to eat crab?
After the meal, the bill came to a little over two hundred. For Irene, that was such a small amount of money that she hardly
had to do anything to get it. It was only a gram
of insect honey.
I didn't explain the value of insect honey to her. There was no point.
