"Irene, how many can you handle?"
"What are you talking about?! Stop talking at once, or I'll show you no mercy!"
The captain seemed to have sensed something. She barked an order, and the mechs surrounding us immediately engaged their safeties, pointing their guns at us.
Irene might not know much about the world, but she could at least understand what people said.
"Ten without bloodshed. All of them if we're allowed to spill blood."
Those words showed just how powerful Her Majesty the Queen was. If she held back, she might not necessarily be stronger than me, since she rarely faced situations where she had to suppress her power in a fight. But if she didn't need to hold back, she could easily kill these people instantly by other means.
"Without bloodshed. Leave the ordinary people to you."
As I spoke, I looked at the captain, who had already raised her gun and aimed it at me.
"By the way, Captain, didn't you want to know how that person died? I can show you."
I smiled faintly. The captain furrowed her brow and stared at me.
"Don't move! If you make a single move, I'll open fire! Drop your weapons and surrender at once!"

"Little Black, use my authorization to shut down all mechs and communications within a hundred meters."

Little Black's voice came through my earpiece. The next second, the dozen or so mechs let out a piercing alarm. Then every mech's hatch sprang open against its pilot's will. Everyone, including the captain, turned to look at the mech squad.
The mech pilots stared at what was happening, completely dumbfounded.
"What's going on?!"
"The mech suddenly stopped moving!"
"I don't know why, but the power won't come on. The mech won't move!"
