I studied the man closely.
In that brief instant earlier, I had only caught a fleeting glimpse, but a strange feeling had lingered in my mind. With so little time, I hadn't
been able to examine him closely. Now that this
guy had put some distance between us, I had time to take a good look at him.
He was about my height, roughly six feet tall, and wore a hooded leather trench coat that concealed his entire
face. On his lower half, he wore loose casual
pants and a pair of combat boots. I couldn't tell what kind of build he had. Under his coat was a long-sleeved cotton shirt, but now
all those clothes were soaked through,
clinging to his body.
This man... gave me an inexplicable sense of familiarity.
I frowned and looked him over carefully. There really was something strangely familiar about him, but I was certain I had never
met or spoken to him.

He looked at me, then suddenly reached for his waist. In that instant, his coat swung open, clearly revealing the two pistols strapped
to either side of his waist

At the sight, I bellowed and grabbed the two electromagnetic guns beneath my arms. Almost simultaneously, we both
drew our two guns. His
movements were astonishingly identical to mine. Even the habitual motions he made when firing were remarkably similar.
Could this guy be copying my movements?
As that thought flashed through my mind, electricity burst from both my hands, charging the bodies of my guns in an instant. At the
