Age was far too complicated a subject. We could discuss it in detail when we had time. Right now, I just wanted to let off some steam.
I raised my head and looked toward the sniper's position. With my dragon eyes activated, the colors in my vision instantly grew more vivid,
and I could even vaguely make out
fine threads running through the world.

Although I had suppressed much of my fury, my heart still pounded rapidly. Clearly, unless I killed a few
people, getting my anger under control would be difficult.

I straightened my collar again, pulled my long, now ash-gray hair out of my trench coat, and tossed it behind me. I gently shook my
head, letting my hair slide smoothly down.
Then... I bent my knees slightly and looked toward the city wall.
In that instant, I saw the confusion in the sniper's eyes, and I also saw him adjust the angle of his rifle slightly, aiming
the muzzle at my forehead.
But he wouldn't get the chance to fire another shot!

With an explosive crack, I vanished from the spot, leaving a deep crater of shattered earth behind. The hard ground was now as
brittle as chocolate, and I easily
smashed it beneath my feet.
The wind howled around me, lifting my long hair. I spread my hands slightly to keep my balance. Two hundred meters was only
a single leap.
The city wall drew closer and closer as the surrounding scenery raced backward. Watching the wall grow larger before me, I spread my
arms and landed heavily on top of it.
