She instinctively took it, but Fang Yuxuan didn't look at the paper right away. Instead, she glanced at Fang
Yun, who gave her a look that said,
You'll know when you read it.
Curious, Fang Yuxuan lowered her head and examined the paper in her hand.
"Global Crisis Notice?"
She looked at the title. The paper was written in Chinese, and it seemed to be... some kind of announcement.
The title was certainly alarming, though.

After thinking it over, Fang Yuxuan continued reading.

Announcement: To all humanity.
There was a lot of flowery language, but the gist of it was this:
It's been hard surviving the apocalypse so far, but the crisis isn't over yet. In recent days, the insect race has launched a full-scale invasion of humanity. The people of Asia, Europe, and Africa are on the brink of extinction. Now, the Global Survivor Alliance, on behalf of all humanity, declares the insect race humanity's ultimate enemy. In the near future, we will surely defeat the insect race and reclaim our home.
The moment Fang Yuxuan saw the paper, she froze. Then came... disbelief.
Other people might not know, but she had spent more time with Irene than anyone else. She had every right to speak with authority.
Irene had never broken their agreement, even after Fang Yuxuan had died. So why had she suddenly started slaughtering and invading humanity?
