Their fists actually moved at no less than a hundred kilometers an hour. They seemed slow only because their bodies were so large. When they swung,
their fists had much farther to travel between them.

head kept stretching forward, its jaws snapping open and shut. Each snap rang out like a giant bronze bell.

squeezing harder and harder.
In the animal kingdom, it was rare for creatures to fight for their lives from the outset. Tigers, lions, bears, and other
