The instant the back of my hand touched his face, a wisp of blue smoke rose from it, and his body
shot backward like a stone from a slingshot
and landed in the mass of Zombies.
Then I grabbed the handle of my long saber with my right hand.

Blue arcs danced across the entire blade. Facing the Zombies charging at me in packs, I retreated
while turning, using centrifugal force
to put more power behind the edge!

The Zombies in the front row were sliced clean through the torso. Their organs spilled across the ground, but no blood flowed out.
The current had already heated the blade
until it was scorching. The instant blood touched it, it coagulated and sealed the wounds.
A thick, pungent smell rose from the blade—the strange odor of blood evaporating in an instant.

Steam kept rising from the blade, and the air around it began to warp.
"Heh. Perfect. I've been planning to try this for ages. You'll do nicely!"
But these Zombies really did seem to have grown smarter. A moment ago, they had been rushing me like mad. As soon as I said that, though, they
