When I put us together, we were completely
from two different worlds.
Time really was a terrifying weapon. No one could escape it~
Lying on the bed, covered by a blanket that smelled faintly of mold, I thought about this and that until I slowly drifted off to sleep.
The night passed without incident. By the next day, many of the zombies outside had dispersed, but there were still too many. I still couldn't get out,
so I could only
wait a little longer. The weather was... quite dry, and the wind felt like knives scraping against my face.
But there was one upside: at least my underwear would dry faster.
I felt my underwear, which was nearly dry, and thought... I'd probably be able to make a break for it the day after tomorrow, right? Hopefully Long Tianfeng and the others hadn't
left... No, they should leave.
At least that would mean less danger. As for what they'd come here to do, I'd find some clues eventually and get my answers.
With that thought, I fell asleep again.
In the blink of an eye, two days passed. It was March 20.
The weather was still a little chilly, with the temperature hovering around zero. Sometimes it climbed as high as ten degrees, but most of the time
it stayed around zero.
My underwear had dried completely, and I'd more or less recovered.
Since I didn't have much food, I had to keep track of the time. Eating a larger amount all at once was different from eating larger portions in several batches.
I'd more or less regained my strength, and most of the zombies downstairs had left. From the looks of it, I could leave today. I'd been keeping an eye on that place
for the past two days.
