"Tsk!"
I eyed the little bugs. Their shells looked tough, and they charged straight through the flames. Only a handful made it across the sea of fire,
but there were simply too many of them.
In the blink of an eye, several broke through the wall of flames and attacked the crowd!
Ratatat!
Fortunately, the Third Battalion still had plenty of tanks and heavy machine gunners. They could stop the stragglers and keep the

nearly a kilometer through them before their countless sacrifices finally robbed it of momentum. Now a red-hot lump of metal,
it fell to the ground.
Clink.
I stared at where the flames had vanished. A vast swarm of exploding flying bugs stood between me and the giant beetle.
"Heh... You think you can stop me!?"
I pressed my lips together, took out four coins, and flicked one toward the distant giant beetle. It spun up with a bright
jingle!
The coin whirled through the air. I set my left foot back and my right foot forward, then thrust out my right hand. My enormous
claw closed into a fist, blue arcs dancing around my fingertips, and I fired at
the falling coin!
Boom!
The instant the first shot went off, I tossed
