A roar escaped me before I knew it.
Then pale blue mist spread rapidly. The wind carried it over me in the blink of an eye, completely covering the sky above.
Lying on the ground, I watched the vast cloud of pale blue mist drift downward. I knew I probably couldn't escape it,
but I could take the Insect King down with me.
At that thought, I turned and got to my feet, looking for the swarm. The instant I turned my head, a massive arm grabbed my face!
"Roar!"

My whole body was slammed to the ground. Before I could steady myself, the huge arm seized my head with irresistible force and smashed it toward
the earth again and again.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Each blow drove me deeper, gouging a huge crater into the ground.
My vision spun. The whole world was turning, and the blows left me dazed. But the Insect King clearly had no intention of letting me go. Several
arms made of insects came crashing down in turn!

The barrage left me completely stunned, stars flashing before my eyes. My scales were too hard for the swarm to break through
outright, but under the relentless assault,
I felt blood running from my forehead and the corner of my mouth. The swarm's arms swung like windmills, using their momentum to hammer
my body. The insects died as they struck, only for more to rush in and fill the gaps.

All I could do was raise my claws to shield my head. After taking more than a dozen blows, anger surged
through me. I swept my tail
