"Brothers, I'm back~"

Adam clapped Klon on the shoulder, slung his messenger bag onto the long table, and sat down.

"Where have you been? We haven't seen you for ages."

Klon pushed the roasted sausage he'd saved for Adam in front of him as he spoke.

"I went to chat with Professor Sprout about planting things in the dorm."

"Planting things... can't you just plant whatever you want?"

Their Hufflepuff common room was full of plants, from the pothos vines hanging from the ceiling to the cacti on the tables...

"Magical plants, maybe?"

Eugene guessed.

Adam nodded:

"That's right, so I had to ask Professor Sprout. But don't worry, it's just a Moly plant. Professor Sprout gave me a seedling. And I'll plant it by my bed, it won't bother anyone."

He was mainly planting Moly to practice magic and to prepare for applying to Professor Sprout to grow other magical plants later.

The magic of the Flower Card and Tree Card couldn't be practiced out of thin air. He was now working hard to learn the magic of the Sweet Card. If all went well, he'd be able to complete it just as the Moly bloomed, and then transition to using the Moly to learn the magic of the Flower Card.

After lunch, Adam slung his messenger bag over his shoulder and prepared to separate from the group again.

"Where are you off to now?"

"Professor Sprout asked me to take some things to Professor Dumbledore."

Adam wasn't lying. Professor Sprout had indeed asked him to take a bottle of honeysuckle nectar to Professor Dumbledore.

"What about your soup?"

Klon swallowed.

"Don't worry, it's just delivering some things, it won't take long. And we just had lunch!"

Adam waved behind him as he ran off:

"I'm off~"

Back in the dorm, Bernard looked at Adam's four-poster bed and rubbed his chin in confusion:

"I remember Adam saying his parents are Muggles, right? Why is he adapting to the wizarding world so well?"

No, he couldn't describe it as just adapting well. He was like a fish in water, even more adapted than those of them from wizarding families.

Eugene and Uther exchanged glances, seeing similar emotions in each other's eyes.

Klon didn't think so much. He just wanted to know when Adam would be back. He hadn't eaten much for lunch because of that soup... Wait, he remembered there were still two tea eggs left from this morning?

"Coconut Ice."

Adam, having spoken the password, walked into the Headmaster's office and saw Professor Dumbledore dozing behind his desk.

Looking around, the portraits of the former headmasters were also mostly asleep. Besides those, there were a few empty frames, probably because those old headmasters were out visiting.

Adam thought for a moment and decided not to wake Professor Dumbledore. Seeing a chair opposite the desk, he took out a book, sat down, and waited while reading.

The Refilling Charm... a charm to summon liquids from a pre-prepared container. If I learn this charm, next time I can use the Sweet Card to conjure a big bucket of Coke to drink whenever I want.

How to use magic to make a perfectly cooked Wellington steak... should I get Dad to send some bled beef to try?

"Oh! I'm so sorry... have I kept you waiting long?"

Dumbledore opened his eyes sleepily, took off his half-moon spectacles, rubbed his eyes, and put them back on, looking at the student in front of him.

He had waited until he woke up. He seemed like a very gentle and patient child, and he was reading, very keen to learn... huh?

Advanced Home Charms for a More Refined Life

Dumbledore's gaze stopped on the book's cover, and he blinked.

"Professor Dumbledore, you're awake."

Adam naturally closed the book and stuffed it back into his messenger bag, then took out an envelope, a small bag, and Professor Sprout's nectar:

"These are from Nicolas Flamel, to be given to you personally, and this is the nectar Professor Sprout asked me to pass on."

"Thank you very much, Adam. I must say, you've been a great help to us."

Professor Dumbledore sighed, reached out and took the three items, placing them aside, then took out his wand:

"What would you like to eat? Coconut Ice? Lemon Sherbet? Actually, I recommend Cockroach Clusters, but many people refuse to taste it because of its appearance."

As Professor Dumbledore spoke, he conjured exquisite plates on the desk, filled with the snacks he had mentioned.

"Professor Dumbledore, aren't you going to check them first?"

Adam was a little surprised. That was the Sorcerer's Stone... and he had already tried it. The one he helped transport was indeed the real Sorcerer's Stone.

"There's no rush for that. Afternoon tea is more important."

Professor Dumbledore said, throwing a Lemon Sherbet into his mouth. The sour taste exploding between his lips and teeth made Professor Dumbledore's face wrinkle up.

"Oh—I seem to have mixed up the Lemon Sherbet with the Acid Pops!"

Saying that, Professor Dumbledore promptly popped a Cockroach Cluster into his mouth.

Adam gasped:

"Please give me a Coconut Ice."

The pink Coconut Ice didn't have a strong flavor. A faint sweetness spread across his tongue with a cool sensation, making him feel happy.

"Professor Dumbledore."

After a few bites, Adam couldn't help but ask:

"Why would Nicolas Flamel ask me to do something so important?"

"Oh? What thing?"

Professor Dumbledore blinked, looking like he didn't understand.

"The Sorcerer's Stone, of course!"

Adam put the Coconut Ice on the table, looking stressed:

"I saw Nicolas Flamel's name in a book... and then I knew what that red stone was. What if I lose something so important?"

"Calm down, calm down... didn't you deliver it to me perfectly intact? No accidents happened along the way, did they?"

Professor Dumbledore smiled and conjured a glass of pumpkin juice, handing it to Adam. Adam took it and took a big gulp:

"But I'm just a little wizard. Last month, I didn't even know magic existed! What if someone finds out..."

"They won't, Adam. Nicolas Flamel's protective measures for the Sorcerer's Stone are much more thorough than you imagine."

Professor Dumbledore picked up the bag containing the Sorcerer's Stone on the table, and said mysteriously:

"In fact, this bag has the Fidelius Charm cast on it."

"Fidelius Charm?"

Adam showed confusion at the right time.

"It's a protective magic. You should have seen it on Nicolas Flamel's house. Unless you actively tell someone, even if you put this bag in front of them and let them touch every corner of the table, they won't be able to find the bag's existence."

Adam showed a surprised expression:

"That's amazing... can I learn this magic?"

"If you can study hard, I believe you will have a chance in the future, but it's probably too early to learn this spell with your current level of magic."

Professor Dumbledore shook his head and instead said:

"But I will fulfill my promise and teach you the Portkey spell."

With that, Professor Dumbledore took out a piece of paper—presumably the Hufflepuff first-year schedule—and looked at it for a while, then turned to Adam:

"I don't think it's a good idea to take up weekend time for lessons. How about Wednesday afternoon? You can come to me for lessons after Charms class."

The headmaster's office was on the eighth floor, and among all the courses, only the Charms class on the fourth floor was the most convenient.

"No problem, Professor."

"Well, then we'll make it that... I have some other things to deal with. You can continue to enjoy these snacks. Remember to close the door for me after leaving the office."

Professor Dumbledore picked up the bag containing the Sorcerer's Stone and stood up. As he was about to walk to the door, he turned to look at Adam again:

"Oh, right, there's one more thing I forgot to say—please keep the Sorcerer's Stone a secret, okay?"

"Of course, no problem, Professor."

Adam bit his spoon and gave a well-behaved badger smile.
