So he did not continue asking what magic Adam's Grimoire recorded at all, instead cooperatively raising the Grimoire in his hand.

It was roughly the size of an A4 sheet, nearly as thick as an adult's palm was wide, with a clover wrapped in curling floral patterns on its cover.

"Plant magic?"

Adam stroked his chin and did not use his ability to see the outcome in advance, leaving himself a bit of surprise.

Plant magic had developed quite well in this world too. Leaving aside the severely overpowered World Tree Magic, which was no longer truly related to plants in essence, Charlotte Rozalei, a user of Briar Magic, was also one of the captains of the Nine Magic Knight Squads.

"Although one of my current spells is indeed related to plants, it isn't Plant Magic."

Gabriel could not help smiling as he opened his Grimoire and turned to the second page.

Every page of a Grimoire represented a spell. Gabriel's Grimoire was so thick that it indicated an extremely high upper limit for the magic he could master in the future. However, there were currently only three pages in the book that contained magic.

There were three sources for the spells in a Grimoire:

The first was magic that existed upon receiving the Grimoire, usually a talent a mage was born with. The second was magic a mage mastered through research and effort. The third was magic produced when the Grimoire responded to a mage's intensely powerful wish.
