"Curses..."

In the world of Cardcaptor Sakura, Adam turned off the heat and stirred the sweet soup with a spoon. Ingredients like snow fungus, peach gum, lotus seeds, longan, coix seeds, and lily bulbs swirled in circles, bobbing up and down.

He tossed a few chunks of yellow rock sugar into the pot with a wave of his hand, then covered it and waited for the residual heat of the sweet soup to dissolve them. This way, the sugar would not dissolve too early and make the soup less sweet, nor would it damage the nutrients in the ingredients.

After finishing all that, Adam sat down in a nearby recliner and casually pulled the drooling Kero into his arms for a few strokes.

"This is a field I haven't really explored in depth before. Back in the HP World, I didn't study curses much either. Later, in the Type-Moon World, they were only material for filling out my knowledge base."

Other than the period when he had researched magic for healing souls for Sebastian's sister and Neville's parents, Adam had hardly ever specifically studied curses.

He raised a hand, and a somewhat illusory card gradually outlined itself in his palm. Its face was still blurry, revealing only the vague shape of a human figure.

The top and bottom of the card, however, were perfectly clear.

Adam dismissed the Curse Card in his hand and resumed watching the sweet soup before him.

It had to be said, Clow Cards truly were an incredibly ingenious invention. Aside from serving as learning tools along the path of magic, even after a mage had Ascended the Hall, they could still use the process of crafting their own cards to verify what they had learned.
