With the matter concluded, it was naturally time for the banquet to begin.

Adam had long since prepared to amaze everyone.

"Please look at the lots on the table."

Everyone had noticed the slender jade container on the table when they took their seats, but before Adam spoke, they had not realized it was a lot container.

After all, there had been no lots inside!

Of course, after Adam finished speaking, lots appeared within it. A whole handful of paper slips materialized out of thin air inside the container.

Out of curiosity, someone drew one and found a slanted line of small characters written on it:

"Swan soup?"

Drawing another, they found different words:

"Lotus leaf chicken?"

"These paper lots bear the names of dishes. If there is something you wish to eat, simply toss the paper slip into the water beside you..."

Adam held a paper slip in his hand as well and tossed it into the water. A fish seized the slip in its mouth and dove down. A few breaths later, a sleeping lotus bud floated up where Adam had thrown the slip.

With a gesture from Adam, the bud flew out of the water and landed in his hand. He tore open its outer petals, revealing a bowl of peach blossom congee within.

"What is this?!"

"How incredible!"

"Is this an Immortal's method?"
