Adam cheerfully let out a loud burp after downing an entire bottle of cola in one go.
Normally, he never would have done something so undignified. But he had drunk cola for centuries without ever stopping, even in the Journey to the West world. Having suddenly gone without it for so long, he simply could not get used to it.
Ye Fan stared at him, dumbfounded.
"Alright, where was your home again? I'll take you back. But be prepared. We kept a low profile when we arrived, so no one noticed us, but the moment you go home, it definitely won't stay a secret."
Adam opened another bottle of cola and tore open a bag of corn chips.
"Mm, I'm prepared!"
Ye Fan had long since mentally prepared himself for what Adam had said.

Ye Fan had no other relatives at home, only his parents. They were both still working now—although their son had ridden a dragon into the sky and vanished somewhere, life still had to go on.
Compared to parents whose children had met with accidents and passed away, they at least still had something to hope for. Perhaps their son would return one day.
Pushing open the front door, Ye Fan's mother took off her shoes as she said,
"Why are you home so early today? And you even know how to cook now? What are we having tonight?"
