Chapter Summaries

Artoria released seven of the Sword of Promised Victory’s Thirteen Seals and fired Excalibur at All the World's Evil, but Adam halted the beam with the Wheel Card. Adam continued analyzing the black sphere as he waited for its purification to finish.

• Artoria began unsealing the Thirteen Seals, and the holy sword approved restrictions until seven had been released.
• The Star Holy Sword rejected Artoria’s claims that the battle was against evil and in pursuit of truth, but approved the battle for survival.

After Adam weakened All the World's Evil, Gilgamesh and Enkidu joined Artoria's power to destroy it with three Noble Phantasms. Adam then turned his attention to the small trace of the Counter Force contained in Enkidu's wedge.

Adam encountered Angra Mainyu after purifying All the World's Evil, and received an incomplete concept of humanity's evil as a gift. His projected consciousness returned to his Servant body, and he turned back to the interrupted matter involving Kiritsugu Emiya.
