After claiming another first place, Qin Shaofeng was delighted.
With first place in the Divine Inscription contest added to his tally, he had now won first place eight times. He was only two first-place finishes away from completing the "Ten-Item All-around" task in the seventh stage of "All-around Champion."

In the Ancient Saint Domain, formations were generally constructed using divine inscriptions, because formations made with divine inscriptions were much more powerful.
It could be said that any formation master was also a divine inscription master.
Qin Shaofeng was naturally no stranger to formations. He had studied many in the past, and the knowledge he had gained from his master, White Emperor, included a vast amount of information about them.

Contestants had to arrange three hundred one-star formations, three hundred two-star formations, and three hundred three-star formations within three hours.
Although the formation contest required only half as many as the divine inscription contest, formations were considerably harder to arrange than divine inscriptions were to inscribe.
Of course, that was only relative. In Qin Shaofeng's case, it had taken him less than half an hour to pass the first stage.
