"Have you finished investigating?"
After arriving at the lake, Viteo immediately asked the question.
"Yes!"
An officer answered, but a trace of hesitation in his voice caught Viteo's attention.
"What is it? Is there a problem?" Viteo asked.
"Yes!" The officer nodded. "General, according to our findings, the chances of an Energy Stone deposit existing are slim, but we detected quite a few Energy Stones in the underground river."
No Energy Stone deposit?
Viteo frowned slightly, disappointment showing on his face.
At this point, an elderly man dressed like a researcher spoke up. "General, let me be frank. Energy Stones require hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of years to form. And because they require a special kind of energy, expecting an entire mineral vein to form is rather unrealistic."
Viteo's expression darkened at those words.
Seeing this, the old man continued, "However, General, there's no need to worry. Based on our current scans, we've already detected more than fifteen hundred Energy Stones in the underground river, and that's within a stretch of less than fifteen kilometers. Our geologists estimate that the river is at least a hundred kilometers long."
The old man stopped there, but Viteo's expression had already brightened.
"So you're saying there are Energy Stones like these elsewhere in the underground river?" Viteo's heart stirred, and he grew excited.
"While we can't be completely certain yet, the current data puts that probability at over eighty-seven point five percent!" the old man said.
"Then how many of these Energy Stones do you think the entire underground river contains?" Viteo asked.
"Well..." The old man hesitated, then answered confidently, "We can't be entirely certain, but based on the current data, a conservative estimate would put the number of Energy Stones at over five thousand. It could very well exceed
