Snow-Eyed Girl
He hadn't been in the botanical garden for long when someone came in through another door.
A young long-haired woman approached the girl sitting by the stream, carrying a tray with a syringe and medicine. Her steps were light. "Miss Long, it's time for your medicine."
The splashing stopped. The purple-eyed girl raised a hand and knocked the tray over.
With a clatter, all the medicine shattered on the ground. The long-haired woman crouched down and gathered it up without changing her expression. After picking up every shard, she stood and said, "You're the one who'll suffer if you don't take your medicine. Why make things difficult for me?"
"I want to make things difficult for you. So what?" The purple-eyed girl looked at her.
The long-haired woman said nothing. She turned and left, but soon returned with fresh medicine. This time, she pinned the girl down and forcibly injected her. Then she said coldly, "Don't think you can act recklessly just because you're about to enter Snow Palace. Try to stay alive."
