Even though there weren't enough Alien in this area to be everywhere, there were still plenty of them rushing toward the explosion from their different nests. Some weren't very bright, either. When they couldn't squeeze past their own kind, they tried to take it out on the rocks beside them.
That wouldn't have been a problem if Zheng and Jiang hadn't been underground as well. Once too many Alien packed the tunnels until they were completely blocked, and they couldn't shift the heavy rocks, the small bombs came in handy.
Explosions rang out from both sides in response, at three locations in all. Neither side had time to worry about the other; everyone was focused on getting out, so nobody held back. On top of that, 114 had just dug a lot of tunnels beneath them. The three sides working together brought down a whole stretch of rock!
114 hadn't yet dug its way to the surface when heavy rocks came crashing down from above, sweeping toward the lowest point like an avalanche. The already unstable tunnels began to teeter on the brink of collapse. The ground shook for only a few seconds before the tunnels caved in and the passages were buried. All the surrounding space was crushed, leaving no room to move!
Xu Huo had already recalled 114 and landed on the ground. Before the stone ceiling came down, he brought out Shelter 101. He went inside without closing the door, then used "Inviolable Territory" and "Three Seconds of Life" at the same time.
The thuds of rocks striking the item and the screams of the Alien rang out one after another. It took about three minutes for the noise to gradually die down. By the time everything outside had gone completely quiet, four minutes had passed.
