The Magician

"Whose item is this?" The blond-haired Player looked around, then turned his gaze to Xu Huo, who was still seated. But Xu Huo wasn't looking at him. He was staring at the last row of the cabin—where someone had appeared.

That person hadn't been there before the plane took off. He'd appeared after it had left the ground.

And nobody had noticed!

Following Xu Huo's gaze, the other Players saw the man in a top hat sitting in a corner of the last row.

The hat suddenly moved. Every Player present felt as though a flash of light had streaked across their vision. By the time it vanished, the Young Master's item had stopped working, and the man who'd been sitting in the last row was standing in front of them.

He wore a black top hat and a black tailcoat, along with a metal moth-shaped eyepiece. The lower half of his face, which was exposed, was pale with a faint pearlescent sheen, as if he'd caked on a thick layer of powder. This "stunning" entrance made the Players' hearts sink as one. Even setting aside the fact that he'd appeared without anyone noticing, his eye-catching getup alone made it clear he'd be a difficult character. Normal people usually kept a low profile in the game; only lunatics and perverts went out of their way to attract attention, as if being watched gave them some kind of brain-orgasm.

The man in makeup slowly curled his lips, then abruptly stretched them into an exaggerated grin. He extended both arms and held them out to the sides of two boxes. Only after startling the Players into retreating and using Defense Artifacts
