The train ride was fairly peaceful. In fact, of all the trips Xu Huo had taken to dungeons, this had been one of the more uneventful. Before they reached Card City, where the Poker Card Maze was located, Liang Shuang told him some things about the dungeon.
"So the dungeon entrance is fixed, and there are special maze signs. The people of Card City use them to guide players from out of town. But after the dungeon upgraded, the entrance stopped being fixed and began appearing at random in five station cities."
"District 001 has ten stations. The station city where we're getting off is Card City. Before, you could only enter the maze through this city. After the upgrade, four more cities were added. They aren't that far apart by District 001's standards, but even with the fastest local aircraft, it takes at least half a day to travel between them."
For a district where aircraft were widely used, that counted as a considerable distance. District 001 was also more technologically advanced than District 011, so its aircraft would only be faster. That showed just how vast the district was.
"There are entrances in all five cities. How many people can enter the dungeon at once?" Xu Huo asked.
"Fifty-four," Liang Shuang replied. "No matter how many people go in, they'll all be eliminated before the dungeon begins. That's why there are so many tickets for the Poker Card Maze, but not everyone who gets one manages to enter the dungeon."
"As for how they're eliminated, you'll find out once you're inside."
"What I mainly wanted to tell you about is the entrances. We won't know which one we're going in, so once we arrive, keep your ticket on you. It's the first identity check. But be careful when
